Part of a new series of work inspired by the patterns and colours of Andalusia. This image is of the exterior wall on the Mesquite, the great mosque, now cathedral, in Cordoba. I liked the sense of one culture overlaying and coexisting another, and how the patterns and colours glowed in the late afternoon sun. And the amazing gold doors!
