Façade of the Mesquite - imperfect proof

Screen print on Somerset paper

56cm x 38cm

Part of a series of work inspired by the patterns and colours of Andalusia. This image is of the exterior wall on the Mesquite, the great mosque, now cathedral, in Cordoba. I liked the sense of one culture overlaying and coexisting another, and how the patterns and colours glowed in the late afternoon sun.

Super Seconds Info: this print does not have the gold doors of the edition.
