Lino Print on Somerset paper
19cm x 46cm
This is part of a series of prints I made during the Covid-19 Lockdown. I was limited in terms of where I could go and what I could do, so I decided to convert a craft press die cutting machine into a small printing press. I experimented with lino cuts and made prints of subjects that were very close to home.
Our house is filled with things that have been collected from the beach so I have started a series of works looking at these everyday, yet remarkable objects. This print was an experiment to see how abstract I could be with my colour and shape, but still convey the essence of what I was looking at.
Please note that this is a handmade print and there may be slight variations in the edition. Each piece is unique!
